The security and safety of officers, prisoners, and the public are what's at stake...and that's a big gamble.  Further, once privatization grabs a hold...it will be even harder to stop.  This is why it is critical that we join together, voice our concerns about the dangers of prison privatization, and concerns for the safety of the citizens of this state. 

We are professionals, highly trained, and dedicated to our jobs.  The same cannot be said of private prison corrections officers and staff which is a recipe for disaster.
