Know your Rights Under Michigan's Unemployment Law

Due to the many complaints surrounding the school denial provision under Michigan’s unemployment law and the funding uncertainty facing our schools, the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Project (MIUI) will be holding a free legal training seminar for all union leaders, representatives, stewards and members on the school denial provision in Michigan’s unemployment law. MIUI is a non-profit group providing free advice and legal representation to Michigan jobless workers with UI claims, denials or appeals and is comprised of volunteer law students under the mentorship of lawyers who are experts in the field of unemployment law.  If you wish to attend, please contact Cynthia Paul at cpaul98388@aol.com or (517) 482-4886, ext. 12. The training will be held at the AFL-CIO offices on June 14th from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM.  The address is 419 S.
